I have the HF ones and they do fine. Look in Drag Racing Action HF normally has a fullpage add with lots of coupons.

Have had the Harbor Freight set for years and they work fine.

As a side note they make good furniture movers too, just keep them clean.

As another side note, the furniture dolleys that HF sells work good for storing and
moving engine blocks/short blocks.

Followup - I found a coupon in a Car Craft Mag and bought a pair from Harbor Freight for $39.99 a set. 50% off. I will try them later today. Thanks for the help. Dyno

doesn't look like the ones with the 2 rods going along the top of the cheaper ones would work very well with slicks? Has anyone used these?

I've used these types (not for 12" + wide slicks though). Purchased at Menards(likes Lowes etc.). Finally gave out on 1972 Chrysler Imperial. I guess those weight limits have some validity.

FYI,
