Default Re: What's New for 1968

In 1968 for Stock Class,,,,,,,

The Fastest Small-Blocks,,,,,,,,

No doubt the Wenzil Brothers out of Merril, Michigan with their
67' 302 Z-28 Camaro in C/Stock, was the fastest 4-speed.
Running 12.30's'.

The 68' 302 Z-28 Camaro (heavier car) was classed in D/Stock.
Elapsed times were 12.45's.

On the other transmission side, Mark Coletti in the 68' 340 Barracuda 'Fastback'
running in E/SA was the quickest automatic..
Running 12.75's.

Also, Jimmy Boyd who ran a 68' 340 Barracuda 'Notchback' in D/SA
was actually quicker, but lesser known than the Coletti's.
Running 12.55's.
