Default big block mopar heads

my dad is trying to find a set of aftermarket heads(steel or alum) that will work with a dome piston. he has called several places and they tell him their heads will not work with a dome pistons. any info would help thanks hason ssja2021

What pistons do you have? If you don't have them yet, check Diamond pistons. Their piston is advertized: "Designed to fit most OEM open and closed chamber heads". I think Ross and others will tell you what chambers they are designed to fit.

I ran the Edel. RPM with Domed pistons and the Stage 6 Mopar for many years before that with domed. I used 2295 TRW Domed for twenty yearsor so (Still do in our Bracket Stuff). I Believe the B1 and Indy may take a
dedicated design dome and special valve pockets. The JE Sportman series should accommodate either of those
Entry level Aluminum Heads.......Check with JE (I think they are still in Huntington Beach, Ca.).

They don't specify which dome(s) fit these pistons. I don't see a dome for the SRP pistons for a 440.

It looks like you need to call them. I'd figure they would design it for a 906 type head, but that is a guess.

Call 440 source and see what they have. Their pricing is good.
