Hey Racers, Just a reminder...
We typically have one or more winner in the "Barn" after class, so we don't schedule the awards presentation until after that is done. Should be Friday evening. Stay tuned. I will try and get the word out and post on ClassRacer, but keep your eyes and ears open. As mentioned by Jeff Teuton, we will award the winners at the Teuton Pit Compound! Nitro, I need your cell number if you want me to call, text you, etc. ![]()

Another nice deal for the A/ Stick Champ!
For the 5th anniversary, something cool! We have a trophy that will travel with the champ. The winner brings it to Indy to defend all comers and earn the right to hold it another year. If there is a new champion, then the prior year Champ can present to the new Champion with honor. This is no ordinary trophy! Long shifters contributed a pistol grip shifter Dennis Breeden and his Uncle designed and built the wooden base and name plates Veteran race car fabricator and stick racer Ernie Neal made the shifter functional so that the pistol grip shifter moves back and forth like a vertigate should! I have the nameplates and the trophy will have past champions listed on it to date! Brett McFarland Jim Waldo John Calvert Caleb McFarland 2012? Another show of respect and admiration for the A stick racers! I can't thank all the participants and supporters enough! ![]()

Well, Jim has done it again, hard work and a great idea and Jim deserves the credit for making it happen . I hope everyone involved gives Jim a big thanks and also same to the sponsors. I really enjoyed running the challenge last year, not going to make it this year, best of luck to all.
Make sure there is a "toast" to Jim at the award get together party (proper stemware is a must)

Yes it is!
Actually the idea for a trophy came from A stick racer Troy Henderson! There are so many that help to make this possible! Scott Helms and Debbie Haewpe are tremendous supporters! They have helped take this to the next level with their contacts and marketing! My hope is that others see what is possible and do the same! Make it fun and support the class racing we love! It won't drop in your lap, go get it! Still time to jump in Troy! ( or maybe Larry stealing the ole Camaro!)
