Two races in one day is what they did at Richmond, and what they were going to try to do at MIR. Not a real bad deal unless you have a 7-8 hour trip home after its done.
Th ey run both races together instead of running one to completion then running the next. Give everybody one TT. Then rnd 1 race one, rnd 1 race 2 , rnd 2 race 1, rnd 2 race 2......etc.
