Charlie , why would that be any different then if you went to Indy to try and win class and had the wrong part ? This same thing just happened at the Dutch, Guy went 1.20 under then had the wrong heads . No record and no penalty
So let me understand this , wrong part number or wrong part on a car trying to set a record and no penalty , you just dont get the record ? But try to when class at Indy and you get tossed for a period of time if you have wrong part # or wrong part or your engine builder messed up on your heads ? I'm not complaining about the racers involved but if this is true it's BS. You can't toss some and not others . Part numbers are posted on the NHRA website for all to see. If your a engine builder setting a national record you should no the right part numbers and from what I see all the casting numbers were sumbitted to NHRA for the 2013 CJ before the D2 open race Issued: 6/5/12 PC , Revised: 6/12/12 PC, 8/13/12 PC Head Casting Supercharged 2013 A= RFCR3E-6C064-AD, RFCR3E-6090-A, BR3E-6049-C45H, BR3E-6050-C45H, RFBR3E-6090-CD, RFBR3E-6090-CE, RFBR3E-6C064-CD, RFBR3E-6C064-CE, RFCR3E-6049/6050-AD Crew Cheif your correct Recently I got a new blower for my 08 CJ and it did not have a part number on it . However my original blower came with a part number. When I could not find it on the new blower first thing I did was call NHRA to see what was up . What I found out was that the 2010 and 2012 CJ's have no part number for the blower and that the replacement blower for the 08 did not have a part number as well. Happy Holidays
