Well I started in C and maybe I will return, except for this large girth, someone do the math 328 3200 shipping. Let me know what max is in C. I don't think I can get there. If I got to run with all the skinny guys, then I should get a tenth just for being fat. And maybe it's New Fat, as opposed to Old Fat.

IHRA is lookin' better, all the time... pure stock, maybe?
WHy dont they have Fuel Injection/ Stock? I thought that they had these cars separated from carbureted cars, a while back...
Im gettin ready to start on my 400/330 combo... i should just build my '72 Lemans Stationwagon , instead... 455/250ish hp... I'd be away from most , or all of these cars...

Your minimum would be 3,120 lbs at C/SA. Come on down. The water is fine.

Jeff, 30 more and you'll be about right. Then you'll have to start thrashing like the rest of us.

I started the thread with a simple question/observation and it is now 3 pages of crap. I am new to stock/superstock and one thing I have learned Is there is alot of bogus engines, combos, parts being used everyday. That is Why I went to ss modified, It seems to piss me off less...lol

Greg, wait till you hear about my new BB car. I don't want to ruin your day. I can't get to the maximum of C unless I lose 240 lbs., so I will just stay in E at the same weight and just try to drive the car, which has become an issue. I guess at this age, the good times just don't last long enough. I will reinstall the drink holder in the car, change the cage for an ice chest in the trunk, so all is not lost.

Jeff, I can identify with having an issue about the driving part.

Talking Re: Stock @ Gainesville

Just a simple question , is Art Leong hp rating bogus in super stock ? He seems to be able to go as fast as he wants when ever he wants with a 95 Neon and I tip my hat to him . I just dont hear anybody hear bitching about his car being under factored. And Im sure some you guys think us guys with the new cars never have to work on them or spend a dime to make them go as far under the index as a 95 Neon . The race car fairy just gives them to us an their 1.20 under , all we do is gas and go fast
