Thats very cool...but, it would cost $11,000 in fuel, for me to go get it...hehe....
Would be a neat car to add to the collection... If i only had another stall...

There used to be a blue 74 Ventura GTO Stocker from the Northwest years ago, possibly the same car? I seem to recall the owner was Chuck Salarno (sp).

Tim's brown car was that color and had a 4-speed just about every time I saw it. The combination had been already been pushed from O/S to M/S by the time Tim got involved. Bill Rink walked into my pit area at Indy in 1994, introduced himself, and asked how to go about picking a good car for Stock Eliminator. We talked for a while, took a stroll through the Stocker pits looking at cars, shook hands and he left. The next time I saw him, he had a GTO and was wreaking havoc on the qualifying sheets all over the country. c
