NHRA national event question

Usually the cut-off is 12:00 noon of the Monday before the event starts. Sometimes if one class fills up and another one flubs they may up the quota in that one. Really surprised they moved S/ST to Epping as their only National when they are still working on the facility and expanding it and the quota is only 40 cars!

It's $310 to enter S/ST at a national event?? What is the $100 charge for insurance? ..insurance for what?? ..insurance for corporates to get fat???

That was their way of raising the entry fee without saying they raised the entry fee, but the payout didn't change. Blame it on insurance costs, and if I'm not mistaken, they are self insured.
