I have used both and I can't see where there would be any difference in power between the 2 blocks.

Personally, I'd call Dart and ask them what the "big deal" is. I have to imagine that extra 20#'s is there for a reason.

What is the P/N of the Bowtie If your comparing bore size to bore size the blocks should be pretty close in weight. What is the PN of the Bowtie in question? As some of the older bowtie blocks were offered in a small bore non Siamese cylinders.

Your question should be: How will the 20 lbs on the front of the car help me?
With the suspension set up properly the extra 20 lbs on the front my help your car E.T. It may help you keep it off the wheeliebar crutch.

carl i'll get the numbers...im also going to weigh everything again. I believe the difference between the two is #50. if its #20 im not going to fuss over that amount...I hear ya Auger as ive seen people place another touch on the front for that reason.

The last Dart blocked small block I seen ran really, really good! It was well worth the investment.
