Pretty funny thread, NHRA doesn't do their job at Indy and they're crucified.They do it here and the excuses fly about the offender,who to his credit and honesty came on here and explained the circumstances.I would think that both drivers would be tossed.SOP to sit there at scales/fuel check to see the outcome.

They enforce rules when they want to.
Lost at the Gators one year and opponent bypassed fuel and scales. I went across and sat there for 45 minutes until they finished the round and a round of SS. I asked if the other guy was out and they looked to see who it was, I didn't know him. They went and found him just as he was about to leave the track on Saturday night, he came back and weighed and after a discussion Skelly said he was in. Happened to another one that round and there opponent told them he wouldn't come back. He would of had a heads up he couldn't win so there was no use for him to weigh. Just so happened the person put back in won that weekend, and this was before buybacks,LOL |
