Hey Jack, a star reporter such as yourself, should know Maple Grove has had the golf cart runoff the last 3-4 years. Its because of NHRA's enhanced schedule, that it came up on your radar. The same way S/G and S/C got enhanced on Thursday. E

Over the years of attending national events, from E Town, To The Grove, To Pomona, the NHRA has always had some kind of guests you might say racing at their events on Sundays.
I think it helps promote their local programs in the grassroots area of racing. Showing that anyone, not just NHRA points racers can do it. Pomona had imports, and the summit series when I went. People from around the country starred that day. I love stock and super stock most and pray they get a heads up eliminator for 2014 for the new beasts the factories have produced. Give us some Top Stock please.......... On Sunday, Sunday, Sunday. ps, the whole race was over just after 4pm sunday. that was awesome........ |

I am also confused, there are always posts on here on how we get more people involved in class racing and nhra gives local racers a way to see what it is like and maybe they decide to race a stocker, super stocker, s/gas s/street and you guys complain about it. It would have been nice to have another round of lucas oil eliminations on sunday, hopefully that will happen in the future. |
