resurrecting an old thread here, but didn't think it necessarily should start anew.

Looking into a low volume oil pump for a SBF for stock eliminator. Schumann at one time had one listed, but i do not see this on their website anymore.

Jegs has a Low vol pump w/ cut down gears (.660" vs .875" stock) and a 40 psi pressure relief spring for ~$200.

I don't see any other options on the interweb and wanted to see if anyone had any experience w/ the jegs piece, or thoughts on a 25% reduction in gear thickness and 40 psi relief.

I'm inclined to give it a try but thought i'd ask first.

Thanks in advance!

Alex

Did you order one? Does it look any different than a stock melling?

Yep, casing looks just like any other oil pump. Picking up the block crank rods and pistons from the machine shop this week, should be installing th pump in the next few weeks

Thanks - those appear to standard or high volume. I am looking at the low volume low drag pumps
