As I stated before, It is not to my intent to write/re-write any rules for N/SS. We choose to allow cars that are already legal for one/both existing series. With that said, the basic rules for Nostalgia/SS in our Association will be as follows:
~main rules as far as cars, chassis, etc based on 422 All-stars OR NMCA rules. If you can run with either of them, as is, you can race with us. ~any dial-in permitted, to the nearest hundredth. Dial-ins CAN be changed between rounds. .500 full-tree. 13.00 seconds or quicker. ~ANY period-correct 1970-older big-block, mid-to-full size muscle car. ~period-correct corporate, OEM hood scoop only (no Pro Stock-style scoops); limited to 5" (five inches) or less. ~bracket racing aids limited to transbrake or pedal-mounted two-step only. NO delay boxes, stutter boxes, throttle stops, air/electric shifters, etc. Would prefer cars to be footbrake only. If I am forgetting something or leaving any issues out, please let me know.

![]() ![]() Some small changes: For Pittsburgh in September, $100 entry Saturday (4th Annual Carl Schodde-Bob Butter Memorial S/SS race) and $50 entry Sunday. QCMP on Memorial Day weekend, which day is which entry TBD. Want to see how many plan on each day before making a final decision. to allow the bigger/better day to have the better payouts. Thanks to Carl Schodde for making a printable flyer for us, for the second year in a row !! Also, the Dragway 42 race will be QUARTER MILE. They are making a lot of improvements to the track. Moving the starting line way back, to return to 1/4 mile racing. Also a sand trap at the end of the track, new drainage and other improvements. Looking forward to our first ever race at this facility.
