Jerry, do you know when the Z28 and the whole Snake/Mongoose displays will be set up for display at Hendrick's complex close to the Speedway? I've wanted to go up there to see the Hendrick and Penske shops anyway and this is the perfect excuse.

You were featured in one of BJ's promos during the week along with the pics of the car as you found it. Deserve a lot of credit for bringing it back to it's previous glory. Appreciate what you're saying about Hendrick, the loss he suffered at Martinsville would have sidetracked most but he battled through it.

Jim, I don't know when the new cars will arrive. I did see them loading up the Prudhomme stuff on Sunday in a Hendrick tractor trailer. Don was out there helping. I guess for $1.1 million it's the least he can do. LOL.

The Heritage Center is not open to the public. It's by invitation only, or knowing someone at the Hendrick facility. Rick H. told me last year while we were at the Charlotte National event that I could invite some of my racer buddies for a private tour. I did and took about 15 people in with me, Bruce Noland, Jimmy Roberts, Johnny Gray and family, Dick Kincade, Frank Cimba, and others. Can't remember them all. We toured the race shop too where they build the car chassis' and engines. Took about 3 1/2 hours. Nothing like it in the country. Mr. Hendrick actually build a city in his museum to tell the story of his life. That is why it's a very special place.

Could be? I know he's been able to build what ever he wants when ever he wants. Also had a brand new '69 Z28 right out of high school. Used to run Super Stock. Lee Sherman always used to beat him up verbally.
