200-C is what I have been told and look for the later ones that have the input shaft extension for the lock-up converter

Yes, and the plug for the lock up wiring.
We just chop the nub off the input shaft with a cut off wheel.
Some of the early models had a large, single piston servo which can be used in a real low budget build.

Would a metric 200 from a '76 Chevy 305 work as a decent core for a small block stock elim. application ?

Yes ,it would be fine.
I just took in an early Chevy T 200 nice working core this morning.
I can build someone a nice budget starter unit just like the one in Tibor's car...Turbo Action valve body..forward or reverse, low drag tricks, etc

$1000 plus shipping ...paid for in advance.
Let me know if someone wants it.
Call or write, text

Could I use a 200 in my BBC 396/325 65 Impala I am building? Weight would be 3800-4100 lb car. I have a TH 350 I plan on putting in the car- just wondering?

A friend put one behind a 455 Buick GS Stocker
Lasted about 10 passes, before it grenaded in the lights

That car was 3700 lbs. I was in other lane, got a flat rear tire in the lights. Not fun.
