I was running my 1969 440 'Cuda in B/SA as well.

That Charger had 'Mother Monster' rear tires, which were nearly a
Foot wide.

Pete,

This should be from 1974

In the above photo, that is Charlie Castaldo in his 1974 Pro/Stock Duster.

B/SA National Records
* 11.76 ................ Held by a 1970 Plymouth Superbird '426 Hemi'
* 117.44 MPH ..... Held by a 1970 Plymouth Cuda 440-6 'Six-Barrel'

a) Even though I no longer has the RN issues, it has to be from 1974 simply because I didn't have any 1975 Raceway News issues.

b) The above Plymouth Hemi Superbird record holder was Lou LaFreda.

Regards,

Pete

Pete,

You are correct.

1974

In Stock Class, you couldn't run Slicks, but you were allowed Monster Mother Tires, as long as they fit within the Rear Fenderwell.

I believe Ray Cook and Art Leong had N50- x 15's on the 1971 Charger R/T.

I had Concorde G60 x 14's on my green 69' 440 Cuda for 1974.

Thankfully, we were allowed Headers in 1974, but still had to retain
the full exhaust system w/tail pipes.

I ran against them on a 'Cold *** Day', and I couldn't hook up, and broke loose sideways coming off the line.

I nearly T-Boned the Charger.
