Mike, you just have to come here and do it. I can't get it done, Kevin Helms (my 50 year old driver) can't get it done and we are leaving early tomorrow to go race. I guess I will just get it printed in Gainesville. We will be there anyway.

Sorry I could not help you. Its a ridiculous system. Must have been designed by a computer nerd. Its not user friendly. Have a beer and I will see you there. Have a safe trip.

To enter and receive credentials for a national event is now a three step process:
1.) A racer enters a national event. The same as years gone by. 2.) In 1-2 days an email should arrive from nhra with two seperate attachments. Call Jennifer or Abby if this email does not arrive on time. Each racer must download the pdf file and register as a new racer. No matter if you have been racing with nhra for 40 years. 3.) Then the racer must plug in the promotion code and password code. Completing the pdf first works the best. Just filling out the promtional codes will give you a message that your credentials will arrive in 1-2 days but they won't because the pdf form must be completed before they will send the credentials. Basically the pdf file is a new payment registration form. And supposedly the credentials will be emailed 1-2 days later. BUT, it does not always work out that way. Keep copies of every page you fill out and be sure to print the page with your Order Confirmation number or at the very least write it on a sheet of paper. Just yesterday I helped a racer get through this process. Then we called nhra to make sure they had the completed info and that the credentials would be sent out in 1-2 days. They could not find any of the information that we submitted. They said it did not exist. We finally persuaded the lady to look under the Order Confirmation number. She was sure it would be a waste of time since the file did not exist. Several minutes later she came back and said that we would receive the credentials in 30 minutes. And we did. They came without error. So in the end nhra's system is so messed up they can not find files that are properly sumitted. For now the only way we got this done was by insisting that they look under the Order Confirmation number. So KEEP you Order Confirmation number and call them if you don't receive your credentials in 1-2 days. I don't think this is an in house project. It appears to have the name of some software company at the bottom of the pages. It's really messed up for the time being.

And for those who are less tech savvy, good luck!

National Event entry contact: Jennifer Lowe @ 626-250-2271.
We couldn't get it figured out. Talked to Jennifer and she was really helpful and got it all straightened out.
