Dog,
Maybe not the answer you want, but here goes. Maybe someone else will jump in. I had an 87 Firebird 305 stocker about 10 years ago. Had stock front struts. Pulled wheels about 6-10 inches depending. I ask same question then. Several people with faster 3rd Gen cars than mine told me not to waste my money there... spend $ on rear end and motor, trans etc. Fronts work fine for stockers, until very fast and really standing them up. Then not cheap, must buy really good stuff to see improvement. I never got that far before selling it. But never had trouble hooking, even with lot of gear, lot of converter, metric and 9" radials. Good luck Ken Stock 412 |
