Tom,
Thats the main reason I stopped using Fram years ago..The other problem was the insides were falling apart and clogging the oiling systems...Many guys lost engines on the dyno, Fram claimed they had no problem...Anyway thanks for the heads-up... See yah next year...

..try getting someone on the phone from Fram for technical assistance..their filters aren't the only thing that suck John Holmes extendo ****.

Wasn't that a HP4 Fram on John Asta's car at the Keystones? That sure does make you want to pay a fine when Fram is selling defective parts.

Marty, Thats exactly wahat I posted to John on the .90 side. ...I've used the HP4's for years with no problems ,but after hearing all the troubles others are having, I think I'll switch to K&N. ..Several years ago ,I experianced similar problems with Wix filters,and got away from using them. ......Like anything else in racing, trouble with components seems to go in cycles. ...
