The Hall's (I believe) ran a Wagon in G/SA several years ago. Apparently the combo was not competitive even though RJ's Sedan was one bad stocker. Maybe one of the Hall's or RJ could comment on why it wasn't a good choice.

Wheelbase is shorter then a coupe, they are built on a Falcon chassis with Fairlane sheet metal. We ran one in E/S in the very early 70s in Div 2 with a 427/410 until I put it on the roof on 7 inch tires.

Just out of curiousity, is the "fresh air hood" (factory scoop) NHRA legal on the 66-67 Fairlane wagon?

REMEMBER. They, NHRA, are not worried about the boosters in ANY carb in stock class! The Autolite carb has bolt in booster assemblies. You can find a multitude of booster assemblies for these carbs in any junk yard. The reason that NHRA allows this is because they let the injected cars use any injectors for fuel flow. A friend, former national record holder, pushed for this change. When we were in tear down they never measured the boosters. NHRA are only worried about the venture i.d. and the throttle plate size. The only booster not allowed is the tube type ,aka, shear booster.
