Just to set the "record" straight here's ALMack's credentials. He currently holds the NHRA P/SA and Q/SA 1/4 mile records.

P/SA 12.34 105.94 10/11/15 Alan Mackin - Bardstown, KY '84 Thunderbird Brownsburg, IN

Q/SA 12.26 107.41 05/24/15 Alan Mackin - Bardstown, KY '84 Thunderbird Bowling Green, KY

As for his slow qualifying time at the Indy LODRS, he is starting with a totally original '09 Mustang GT with 281 engine and his goal is to build it into a competitive NHRA stocker. It will be interesting to watch how the car progresses from a street car to an all out Stocker and with a combo that is not a cookie cutter piece.

I agree that everyone is entitled to an opinion,we do live in America.I am also well aware of Al being the current record holder in a car he BOUGHT not BUILT himself.I'm sorry but that doesn't impress me at all.Especially in a combo as soft as the t-bird.

Jason good luck with the new combo in stock. I hope at least you are impressed with yourself. You seem to be all over the place here. I suggest you give some of these guys a break. I know everyone else's combo looks easier, but you really only have to work on your own. Talking on the Internet is the easy part...making your first real stocker endeavor quick and fast. That is the hard part. Recognizing others as the good people they are without bashing them might be tough on the Internet, but it is easier in person if you try.

Instead of spending all my money on my cookie cutter Camaro maybe I should have called Marty and seen if he would have sold me his Mustang and I could set the records and be everybody's hero on here. But no on second thought I built a car to try and win The Eliminator, and that is capable of winning not a turbo Thunderbird or a U/SA 302 Ford or any other high class car that doesn't have have a snowball's chance in hell of winning an Eliminator. I'm not saying it can't be done but when was the last time a high-class car won a national event? Not trying to offend anyone either in particular just stating my opinion and some facts.

That's the spirit Jason. Who wants to hold a record anyway? Especially one that is one of those high-class cars that cannot ever win an eliminator. You better be sure that all of us will be watching in anticipation of seeing you in the winners circle at all the races you enter. Remember everyone that number is 3383 in stock eliminator. Looking forward to seeing your photo in the winners circle Jason.

Pretty sure this was laced with a little sarcasm Jason. You pretty well insulted most of the racers here on the forum whether you know it or not. The only way I see you digging your way out of that hole is to build a car and win a few "eliminators" yourself my friend! Jim

I have built a car,2001 camaro SS to run C/SA. It's not fast enough to win class but I'm going to try my hardest to win The Eliminator, the first race is going to be at the end of the month at the sports Nationals in Bowling Green. If I insulted some people on here wasn't my intention, but so is life.
