As for his slow qualifying time at the Indy LODRS, he is starting with a totally original '09 Mustang GT with 281 engine and his goal is to build it into a competitive NHRA stocker. It will be interesting to watch how the car progresses from a street car to an all out Stocker and with a combo that is not a cookie cutter piece.
Instead of spending all my money on my cookie cutter Camaro maybe I should have called Marty and seen if he would have sold me his Mustang and I could set the records and be everybody's hero on here. But no on second thought I built a car to try and win The Eliminator, and that is capable of winning not a turbo Thunderbird or a U/SA 302 Ford or any other high class car that doesn't have have a snowball's chance in hell of winning an Eliminator. I'm not saying it can't be done but when was the last time a high-class car won a national event? Not trying to offend anyone either in particular just stating my opinion and some facts.

I think Al was confused and thought the Indy pts meet was an ihra race! But then again their are alot of REAL racers on here I have alot of respect for and then u have the other over opinionated, no race, dreamers like you Dan and your buddy Al!
I'm thinking maybe you should rethink your statement there Jason as you are not only talking about me but about half the racers on this forum. Remember about 75% of the IHRA Stockers "of all the other IHRA classes that run IHRA "Stock Eliminator" frankly I think they are a joke." also run NHRA Stock Eliminator. Jim

By the way call up Allen Sherman and tell him he's not a real racer for running IHRA. First off he'll out qualify your *** by a ton then spank your *** in the eliminator......lol

Jason, I beat Anthony Bertozzi in the final of Stock Eliminator at an IHRA D2 race last year. Go tell Anthony that IHRA racing isn't real racing. Jim

I didn't say ihra wasn't racing . I was making reference to the made-up classes in their stock Eliminator to let everybody race not an NHRA legal stocker.

That's NOT what you said pal. " and for that matter pure stockers, crate motors and all the other ihra classes that all run ihra stock eliminator" frankly i think they are a joke..."

Pretty clear to me. Jim

I left out the word specific! All the other ihra specific classes is what I meant to say. I know there's a lot of tough Racers that run ihra as well as NHRA. No offense to any of them you included Jim.

That's the spirit Jason. Who wants to hold a record anyway? Especially one that is one of those high-class cars that cannot ever win an eliminator. You better be sure that all of us will be watching in anticipation of seeing you in the winners circle at all the races you enter. Remember everyone that number is 3383 in stock eliminator. Looking forward to seeing your photo in the winners circle Jason.
