Default Re: Indy...No Horsepower Factoring

I am not supporting this senerio, but stop and think about it. Indy is the only race where we qualify and slower ones (based on current HP ratings), do not get to race. For all other races, everyone races. The only time AHFS comes into play is a "heads up" race. All other runs are "bracket races".

A simply change by NHRA would eliminate all of the headaches for NHRA trying to keep up with hundreds, if not thousands of combinations and the bit--ing from us racers.

- Run everyone that is entered at all races, including Indy
- Eliminate "heads up" races...every race, you dial your time.

No reason to have AHFS. Be careful what you wish for.

If they did that, I'd quit. And so would everybody else that are class racers at heart ... If I want to bracket race every time I run a similarly equipped competitor, I would do exactly that ( bracket race ) at my own home track . I could stay in the Columbus Ohio area and sleep in my own bed every night ...

all about. See you at Bowling Green.
