Great people that put the racers first. They have treated all of the S/SS racers very well and they appreciate having us. What's not to like?

Doug, do you know the schedule for the Joliet race? Can I show up on Saturday morning and get a qualifying pass?

Our last qualifying run is Saturday morning so you can still make the race.

What do they use for traction compound, PJ1, VP lane choice, or something else?

Not sure what they use, but Kurt Johnsons crew handles the track prep. Traction has not been a issue at their events. Doug

I agree.
Track prep is very good with the NMCA

There were 24 cars I believe at the BG Combo race

Larry, do you wanna compare the track conditions of the NHRA Div 2 race at Atlanta to the NMCA race at Bowling Green ??? At every NMCA race I've been to, the track has been prepped and dragged right before each and every Stk/ SS session. No bald spots, and as good a bite as any NHRA Natl. Event. ( Oh I forgot - Redman was in the house ) Plus there's spectators in the stands, and you're treated like a much needed component of the race. It's very refreshing.
The only drawback is the quality of racers that you'll run against... If you're not .015 and right on or better, each round.....you're probably going home. - Jim -
