I doubt you will see them around in our type of racing in the near future. NHRA would have to get some very electronic savvy tech personnel to be able to monitor what ever rules that would have to be written for the electric cars or hybrids. I am not in favor of them in our classes.

Section 4G is Electric powered vehicles. It's followed by Electric powered motorcycles. Harley has a killer eBike.

Not to long ago, saw an article with a COPO body with a electric motor bolted to a I think a glide. was being developed with Chevy and a Comp Race out west

I'd be first in line to Run an electric Stocker. Total control over how much power it makes and when/where it makes it. No More weather station. Charging batteries in between late rounds might be an issue.
