Default Re: Would You Quit?

I've wondered about that myself. The question would be is anyone going to pick up the reins and be a true class racing organization. Nobody is right now except NHRA . Their all "kind of's". All these other organizations and attempts are relying on NHRA to do the heavy lifting . Who pays, after NHRA throwing in of the towel, for the "rest of the story". Complete Teardowns, with knowledgeable picky tech men that stop the stretching of the rules... real ones like have slipped away some, but at least not completely vanished from the possibility. I'm not talking about looking at a throttle body and a set of seat belts and walking away. Heads up racing, and some type of engine monitoring to keep things level would be needed. Even a horsepower committee like other organizations continue to do, or AHFS as current.( EXCEPT INDY LOL !!!!) Without the total package, Heads Up racing would fall apart pretty quick. Is anybody going to take all this stuff serious? Or you talking about Bracket racing Class Cars. My opinion don't matter now, but I have wondered the same questions as you Mark.. If your just going to bracket race, why bother with all the rules?
