If you buy stock size replacement axles they won't pay contingency money They did not tell me that when I bought them.

I bought Moser axles for a M/W spool,the fit was bad, dont know if it was a misunderstanding or they just didn't grasp or could supply the M/W spline config then.Didn't like the feel when I put them in and decided to bite the bullet and buy M/W.
WHAT A DIFFERENCE. fit,finish,design...I will never opt for anything less now.
That said all axles I have seen (or heard) brake or twist is Strange Axles

Light years ago (40 something) I had Summers Brothers axles(and spool)....I regret selling those now. they actually where ¨M/W standard¨ when I look back..

Moser stuff is good, the reason they can ship axles in 1 to 2 days is because they inventory axles at a longer length and then cut to match your order. Strange is better, however I did have an issue with a pair of 35 spline axles after 8 runs. The spines started to twist and after talking to there Tech dept. I was told that Strange Axles have an allowable amount of twist and this is acceptable!! M W is the best, no question.
