Why are they not following those rules for this race ?

Matt, this was decided at the beginning of the season for all Canadian Opens by NHRA. I do not see an issue with this format since we use it for every other race in NHRA. Canadian Opens typically have less than 64 cars in attendance; therefore pairing up 1st round should be relatively quick. Hope to see you and your father there.
