Lt1 to ls1 ?

I converted a 94 Camaro LT1 to a 99 LS1. Changed the tail lights and the entire front clip which was supplied by my old sponsor, Iten Chevrolet. The LS1 was completely new back then, so a core engine was hard to come by. Finished the engine and used the same converter/200 transmission, driveshaft and rear gear. In B/FIA, equivalent to C weight today, the car ran .400 quicker and about 4-5 mph faster than the LT1. I accidentally was the #1 qualifier at the Brainerd National that year and was rewarded by Bruce B with an afternoon party in the tear down barn.
