I do not race for the possibility of winning money. I have no expectation to win a race or even go rounds..

Makes no sense to me that anyone would invest all this time, effort and $ without an expectation to win no mind win a round, but it doesn’t have to. Do what makes you happy.
Just one note, you do realize that the class you chose to build a car for is NOT a heads up class. Further, the guys that are winning races and championships in Stock Eliminator aren’t going “full out” in competition and are turning on the win light either with their foot off the gas pedal or on the brake pedal or a combination of both most every pass. Oh and they’re doing it as well in qualifying, playing the ladder game. My point is Stock Eliminator is no longer a run full out, pedal to the floor class and it wasn’t in 2015 either. It’s bracket race until you’re paired up with another car in your class(refer back to the ladder game) then it’s first to the finish line and that guy is usually the one that spent more $, a lot more money than you.
