Do those have the exhaust keeper groove in the higher position like the intakes or older 289-302 valves?

I do not know about the Ferreas, however, the Manley's don't since they are for rail type rockers.

I have been using REV Valves with no failures. They are much more reasonable than Ferrea and more user friendly. They didnt charge me to cut down the valves for my engine.

Thanks to everybody for your input on this!
Another question on this subject is if sleeves should be used in the heads when replacing the valves?

I assume your are talking of bronze liners in the guides. Yes, they can be used; make sure the machine shop has the appropriate reamers and knows how to do it.

Yep, you are correct, those are the ones I mean. You say they can be used, but is it necessary? Any pros/cons on that?

other than k-liners, new guides or the ol' knurl job are your choices.1st NEVER knurl guides. Liners are good though, they're used every day in race shops to restore high dollar manganese bronze guides.
