Old school tech, and really expensive compared to contemporary block fillers. ....Both HardBlock and Moroso make grout based fillers specifically for this purpose. ........The expansion rate and density are correct for the purpose..........I've used Hardblock filler for years with no problems on all kinds of engines. ......The weight difference is minimal,since you're displacing the water. .....Usually 8-10# depending on the height of the fill. ......Tom
