I'm not asking everyone to like T-Stop racing, but if you don't why would you come to our side to bash us. I don't agree with spending $20,000 on a motor that makes 285 HP. but you don't see me going over to the stock guys bashing them......(and I am not saying that "jerk off" is a stocker, just using it as an example)
I love the kind of racing I do and I am proud of it, even if the fans use are track time as a hot dog break. Lets face it, none of us do what we do for attention or money, we do it because we love it! Delay box, Throttle Stop and what ever else it "bad for the sport" |

I think Ruth and Homer ROCK! Also I am not sure what fans the stock and SS guys think are watching them? The stands seem just as empty to me. I still say, move the grand stands to the finish line, you know where the race is. Then will see which class is boring and which ones a nail bitter. Or better yet I want a head count of all the guys in s or ss that have ever ran a .90 car. There is a real driver Dan Fletcher, he seem not to proud to drive a .90 car. But hey, this is just my 2 cents.

I find myself having to agree with Pete on this one. With a 150mph S/Comp car your geting chased by 99.9% of the field no matter how you slice it, so why go on early? Lets look at Stevie Mesik’s deal, Stevie runs his 10.90 @ 100mph and kicks *** and takes names, and does in all on at the top end @ 100mph ( without a stop I’m told, secret stuff). So a slow mph deal can work and turn the win light on. So with a slower car mph car ( for the field,no offense meant, but 150mph for S/comp is a slower car) I’m with Pete and Stevie’s program, take them deep, deep, into race before they can make a decision. Another possible option would be to run the “ Davis traction control” box along with “ THE MATTY BOX“ and that way who give a rats arse what mph ya run? Ya just set up dead on every pass. that way he only needs to worry about cutting a light. :>) As far as the “MATTY BOX” is concerned ? One should consider the upgrade from the magnetic wheel sensors which use a sine wave and opt for the hall effect sensors which are a digital signal and much cleaner signal to read at slow speeds. That’s all Y’all ![]() Merry Christmas |

I know guys/gals that go on the stop as early as .001 to avoid wadding up the tire, with that small amount of time you are talking about. I might use weight, shift time, or other tune up means to avoid a T Stop all together. Shifting sooner or later by 100 rpm, about 6 lbs per 100th of weight might be a good starting point, a manual thumb stop on the carb to control WOT can work. I have a Pig Farmin buddy that does more off the wall stuff than you could imagine that runs right on, that nobody wants to race or loose to.
