thats the 2x4 motor that came with only 4 spark plug wires, there were 150 of them built. But the superceded plug wire set came with 8 wires, so you are allowed to use them

Please explain....I am curious to know more about the pieces on this car that put it in the same "paper" category as the big block car? Should be a simple enough formula - 289, single 4v Holley, C4.

Odd. The lowest class possible in the Class guide for a 67 Shelby is D. Maybe its an 87 Shelby; those fit N.

Not his Shelby, about an '80-82 Mustang, 302 4V. His wife's car.

That would be a different sort of paper car - those years were 2V carbs.

Are you sure that it`s a 4 barrel? I run this combo, and the 4 barrel engine was only available with a stickshift, an automatic came with a "CFI" throttle body fuel injection setup. All the 82 (2V) and 83-85 4V cars were "stick" only. A 86 Mustang looks identical to an 85, other than the 3rd brake light, 86-93 Mustang 5.0`s were all EFI by then, and were available with stick or auto.

Well its possable, there was a rag over where the carb is. What caught my eye when I was walking by was the turbo emblems on it so I walked over to check it out. The window sticker had 302, the weight and 208 hp on it. I just assumed it was a 4 barrel. I cant tell one year from another on those Mustangs
