I was thinking today, How likely are you to kick in an extra $20.00 per race if $19.00 of the money went back to the racers? ($1/car for someone to have the aggravation) I am debating on going through the lanes and collecting $20.00/car to have a side pot for the racers to receive back. I would think on a 100 car count (s/g & s/c) $20/car would total $1900.00 to go back in the hands of the racer, and if we paid back.

Winner 30% ($570.00 + $1500 NHRA money = $2070.00) + Contingency
Runner Up 30% ($570.00 + $600.00 NHRA money = $970.00) + Contingency
Semi-finals 40% ($380.00/semi finalist + $200.00 NHRA money = $580.00)
Or some pre-agreed on payment system (we can vote on that too)

Now if the Winner and Runner up DID NOT PUT UP $ we would have to go back to the people who had gone the furthest in eliminations and SPLIT IT UP EVENLY. (semis, quarters, whatever)
