Doesn't make any sense. I can think of about 20 cars the race at mir loses because they schedule against bristol.

When I started racing IHRA (points) in 2003, I had four races within one-hundred miles. One each at Dragway 42 (100 miles) and Quaker City (23) and two at Pittsburgh (85). Now, I have Pittsburgh, Empire (225-ish?) and D-42 (when/IF it ever gets finished). Everything else is over three hundred miles for me, one way. And, NHRA is just as bad for travel (except Norwalk and Columbus, which lost a race this year). Makes me glad I 'retired' in 2007.

How can you put a Div1 race on the same date as another Div1 race and expect success? I enjoy IHRA and support them as much as possible but this schedule is not accommodating to racing both sanctions. Tough decisions to make...
