Default SBC Stocker Ignition Wire Routing

I am replacing the ignition wires on my SBC Stocker.
The cam has the #4 & #7 cylinders swapped.
I was told to keep the #2 & #4 wires as far apart as possible and not cross them.

What are others doing for routing their ignitions wires.
It was suggested that I lay the #2 wire on top of the intake and run the 4, 6 & 8 wires along the other side of the valve cover.

As this is going to be my only second season with this car, it is obvious that I have a lot to learn.
