Default Re: '67 Camaro E/SA redo

Finally got the 327 sorted out...not a bad little motor considering it was built for the street.

After clicking off a string of 7.36 time slips during time trials this evening I naturally put a 7.36 dial on the car for first round of eliminations. For some unknown reason it took a voodoo turn and dropped two numbers in 60' and broke out with a 7.34 on the brakes killing 2mph from the previous time trial run...who knows what mph I really killed. Partner was convinced it would repeat so he bought back in. I was not convinced at all especially when he wanted a 7.32 on the glass for second round, but it was his money so I obliged. Went red and ran it out just like a trial and it went right back to where it had been all afternoon with a 7.36 . One of these days maybe he will start listening to the driver lol.

The car just doesnt leave hard like it used to and I have yet to figure out why. Maybe by the time I get the other motor together this spring I will have found something. Good consistent car except for that one fluke run.
