Just one note, you do realize that the class you chose to build a car for is NOT a heads up class. Further, the guys that are winning races and championships in Stock Eliminator aren?t going ?full out? in competition and are turning on the win light either with their foot off the gas pedal or on the brake pedal or a combination of both most every pass. Oh and they?re doing it as well in qualifying, playing the ladder game. My point is Stock Eliminator is no longer a run full out, pedal to the floor class and it wasn?t in 2015 either. It?s bracket race until you?re paired up with another car in your class(refer back to the ladder game) then it?s first to the finish line and that guy is usually the one that spent more $, a lot more money than you.

Good luck with your decision.
I'm not getting into a word fight with you. I think you missed a bulk of my post. The Class Win trophies on my shelf would disagree with your heads up comment.

I live in Pierre, SD. It's a small town, center of the state, state capitol. On the banks of the Missouri River. Arguably the Walley fishing center of the universe. On most days, even now in the winter, there are a dozen boats & trailers at each boat ramp. These are $50K and up boats, with $30K and up engines on them, and another $20K worth of electronics. Now throw in reals, tackle, and all the other stuff. Many have spent more than $100,000 to be on the water. All to catch a Walley.

My point, I don't know of any hobby that doesn't cost money. But that's really the wonderful part of racing, isn't it? There's bunch of classes out there. Something for everyone, wouldn't you agree? It's unclear to me why you need to disparage why I race and the class I race in when you don't even race in the class that I compete in nor have I disparaged you or your choices.
