Just for the record my dad has never been caught running a 350 instead a 305. The only time he has been DQ was for Valve spring pressure in 1988 @ INDY( along with 13 other racer because the tester was off 9 pounds). Get your facts right Pre 1960's X tech man. I see now why NHRA never asked you back.

You say you were an IHRA tech man for 20 plus years right. I was just curious if you held the bible for the famous IHRA teardowns(1978-1984) or if you guys paid a real preacher to do it for you. I would be shocked if you even know how to check a cylinder head cc.

The last time I set an IHRA record they never even plug a valve out of the head or rolled the cam. Is this the kind teaching you left behind when you left?
