Default Re: Attention Nova 350/255 stock combo.

A closed chamber BB Chev and the chamber walls have been hit with either a stone or a cutting tool to unshroud the valves.....both intake and exhaust.

In ancient times we used to use an oversized top cut stone with a flatter angle and cut only the intake chamber wall back some with a smooth radius. Could not get away with that on the exhaust side.

Then Bead blast the area and then do what was the accepted and legal VJ of 3 angles and no more than 1/4" larger than valve O.D. top cut.

Many BB heads had a smooth area around the intake and it blended into the chamber wall so you could get away with copying that and making it bigger.....unshrouding the valve....

We did heads and blocks for T/K and they went on record holding cars well know in Div. 1

I did numerous sets of LS-6 heads.....from new castings....before the era of welding.....We did epoxy intake runners on SS heads but nothing more than that....
