Mark Yacavone's Mustang leaves wheels up and is still the best buy in the country right now.

Thank you all for the info and tips. I have purchased the 94 Mustang, so now the project begins. Any tips and tricks on that car would be greatly appreciated ie: trans combos, rear end ratios, convertor suggestions, spool or limited slip, tire size, engine mod suggestions. Not trying to break the bank, but want to try and do it mostly right the first time. Thanks.

Yes, I have, and he agreed to help me out if I ran in a different class than him. Fair enough with me, and thanks for the tip.

Thumbs up Re: Stock Eliminator car choices

Jeff, thanks for this post. I'm lurking and learning from every one's advice. I'm a long time et and super class racer and a brand new stock racer. I bought a turn key slow car a month ago and I'm loving it.

Glad to hear you like it. Hopefully we both have success.

I have an 80 Volare stocker, runs G or HSA. Consistently runs 1 second under in the heat(3000 feet and above) in bracket mode. Car is a former #1 qualifier at the US Nationals.
$14K Turn Key. You could not build the motor, tranny and converter for that. Car is listed in the For Sale section on this forum.

I appreciate the great offers, but I already have a car that I am putting together.
