I''m pretty sure Sorenson was running A last weekend and not going that fast most of the time. I don't think he even dipped into the nines.

And 14 on the 427/425 would require a 1.25 under pass, the HP would be instant on Monday or Tuesday, so that would already be public, and official.

Well we made it thru first round, but have Lambeck heads-up next. Well, you just never know how things will go????

Danny, it was nice meeting you yesterday, too. Chris really likes Merlot, too, so I may have to save the wine to share when we get home!

The run Sorensen made was at an altitude adjusted track earlier in the year.

Well got to get ready for our heads-up. Wish us luck. We'll need it!

Larry

A 4-Speed Transmission would get you out of alot of heads up races.
Jerico & Soft-Lock is all you need.

We won! We Won! We Won! Lambeck spun em up and we didn't. Plus Larry got him on the tree, too. I was sitting in the stands and when they announced the Heads-up race, someone behind said, "Well, Larry Hill can go home now". So you know I just had to yell extra loud (scream actually) when our light came on in our lane.

We have another round tonight. Hey, we're in the money!! Yeah!!!

More later.

You are correct Alan, it would have already been official (states in the AHFS that immediate hp change will be in effect on the Monday or Tuesday following the race), that race was the first of May.....But it was definately over 1.25 under. Funny how the LS1 stick got 12 instant HP for going less under.

Actually, it was a 10.207 on an 11.25 sea level index, that's 1.043 under. Racers that run the Boise race say the indexes are over adjusted, the track is about 0.22-0.25 slow, and they added 0.37 to the index. In any event, you have to run 1.25 under the sea level index. If they aren't correcting the local weather to a sea level standard, then it's a good rule, too.

Im confused, if you have to run 1.25 under the sea level index, how did the LS1 get the HP from a run of 10.439 in B/S? Yes I am aware this was 1.34 under at a factored track.
