The way I see it, If I don't win a couple races early, I don't have any money or points to chase the Title anyway. The point system is fine, only change needed is to reward the top 3 Qualifiers with points. That would help the AHFS

I know what you mean about the expense it takes to chase points if NHRA would adapt a more reasonable way of getting points it would no doubt cost a lot less and then all racers could chase points not just the 10% racers who have the time and money to chase points in the old antiquated points system we have now .
