Lew, where did you see that there was a change in the ladder ? Numerous alternates got in due to breakage or other problems. There was no updated ladder published, at least on the websites I have access to. I'm sure there was one available on-site.

In my limited experience, once the ladder is set, anyone who is unable to "make the call" is listed as a "No Show" and their scheduled opponent is given a competition single.
