I don’t remember how much but it was way cheaper than a crank, pistons, rings, cam, block, lifters, oil pump, and Band-Aid’s. Those shards of metal go right through those blue gloves.

So i guess you racers were not told by your eng.builder what they paid for coated lifters.
i looked on trends price sheet, they were getting $1408 before the shortages and now i am told close to $2000, but since other people are posting company websites i will post my suggestion too ,might even be better than dlc -- go to forcealtered.com

Tell us a little about them . Do they have to rotate? Can they be used on multiple cams ? Do they have to be refaced ? Im talking the johnsons not the tool steel.

I only sell or use DLC when I'm also selling or using a steel cam. Most guys in Stock seem to still be using cast core camshafts, and that means no DLC.
I'm going to have to see some serious data from reliable known sources before using anything different. I don't even like DLC, any more than I like Shubeck style lifters. But DLC is "the devil I know".
