Ok I have always wanted to race Super Stock since I drove a friend of mines SS/FM many years ago...
I have been racing Outlaw 10.5, and other N/A heads up classes lately, but have been looking at the MX classes and think my car will fit. The car is a 1990 Mustang with a Rick Jones tube chassis ( except the front shock towers ). Other than that its your basic Pro Stock car. Carbon fiber front nose, carbon doors, and hatch, with steel roof and quarters. The car is currently certified 6.0 by NHRA. I was thinking about either a V-6 and SS/AX or even a 2.3 4 cyl for SS/CX. First question is my car legal being its still a super stock class? and which is the better route the 4cyl, or the V-6? Either way the car will have a glide for the trans ( if allowed).. Or am I just looking at this all wrong?
