I know one thing if Jerry Bennett and George Widuch were still running those things they could run with any other cars except the new crate motor cars.

Out of curiosity, has anyone ever made a 62 run like theirs? Not that I'm aware but I could be wrong...two really fine gentlemen to be sure.

Many moons ago, we had two wagons with the 4x2 383. Both were fast. One was bought as a national record holder. Many Moons ago

Uncle already! Still quite an accomplishment the way it runs...and looks second to none.
Thanks for the names, some of which I need to do some research on.

I just talked to George BTW. he and Jerry are very happy with the way the car is running. George thinks he has a handle on it. Jim

Add another to the list. My father Al and his partner Don Studley had a 62 383 wagon they raced in the late 70's to early 80's. Even held the E/SA record with it.
